Where Pinterest meets the Garden route – Rustic Views offers a unique & exciting stay for any group or couple looking for something cool and outdoorsy.

The lower deck has an epic ceramic firepit with a wrap-around bench area – perfect for a braai or cozy nights around the fire.

Whilst our top deck offers arguably one of the best views of the Kaaimans River valley, making it the perfect spot for a sunrise coffee and an even better spot for a sundowner.

*Things you should know about Rustic Views

PRIVACY (please note) : 

Rustic views is one of three accommodations of the Kaaimans River Lodge, and is situated next door to the Deckhouse (Main House).

If there are other guests staying at the Deckhouse on the same days, you will likely be aware of their presence. The Deckhouse and Rustic Views share the same jetty and general footpath, so you may very well bump into other guests. Don’t be afraid though, as these are just fellow outdoor enthusiasts looking to break away from everyday hustle.

The actual accommodations have their own private facilities (fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, etc) and the decks are separated by a wooden screen. You may occasionally see/ hear other people from certain spots of the top deck. We appreciate all Kaaimans River Lodge guests to be respectful when it comes to noise (especially after 11pm) – we make that clear during the booking process.

ADDED BONUS: if the Deckhouse is not occupied by other guests during your stay, then you are welcome to roam around there and enjoy that larger deck, along with the table tennis/ dart board etc. 🙂
